Holiday Homes

Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of Silver Trees set in the midst of Woodland and with its own Nature Reserve designated a SSSI (a Site of Special Scientific Interest) which means the wildlife, and landscape are protected.

 Modern static holiday homes give the opportunity of a “weekend cottage” or a “summer retreat” at a fraction of traditional property prices, but they have all the conveniences.

Double-Glazing and Gas Central Heating together with insulation offer a warm comfortable environment whatever the season, these are either standard features or extras that can be specified when your caravan is ordered.

Normally we have demonstrators of different models and specifications available to view on Silver Trees, we deal with all manufactures and can source any type of new Holiday Home, if a particular model appeals we can arrange for you to view elsewhere with our suppliers.

Occasionally pre-owned units are available for sale already sited on the Holiday Park, these would have a term of tenure outlined on purchase, new units would have a 15 year tenure of siting, pre-owned units pro rata, this would be fully explained and discussed when you are considering a purchase to give you reassurance regarding your investment.

As we are Licensed Holiday Park not residential, Silver Trees and all Private Owners are bound by a Sites Agreement and Owners Declaration to ensure that units are occupied as Holiday Accommodation only, it cannot be a main residence ever and will always close for a few weeks per year to comply with Planning Legislation.   

Holiday park SeasonThe holiday park opens 1st March and closes 15th January

Site Fees and Expenses Site fees are currently £2124.91 for the period 1st January to 31st December

Share of Rates, Water, Refuse etc For the period 1st April to 30th March the following year, in line with Local Authority billing, currently £298.90

ElectricityMetered to each individual unit and you pay currently 10.837p per unit, there is no profit margin, you pay what Silver Trees is charged by our supplier under the electricity "pass-through" regulations.

Bottled GasWe have a purpose built gas compound, order and pay at reception then we deliver and connect to your unit, currently priced at £54 for a 47kg bottle, we continually look for the best price for our customers.

InsuranceWe operate a block policy for all private owners to ensure that their holiday home insurance is adequate and very competitive through our agent Leisuredays with cover by Royal and Sun Alliance Insurance plc, who also provide the Silver Trees Business cover for the park, ensuring that we have a strong voice on everyone's behalf.
